This was my first tattoo, something that I have wanted tattooed on me the second I saw it. The picture is a piece of art by Brandon Boyd. Most people would know him as the singer of Incubus. He’s actually an amazing artist, and this piece features on the cover of his first art book - White Fluffy Clouds. It took about 2 hours or so, worst parts were the bits close to my spine. It’s coloured now, but I don’t have any decent photos.
Mum and Dad didn’t speak to me for about a month after I got this baby, little did they know it was to be the first of many. Sorry!
i’m totally not surprised someone has gotten (and posted) the tattoo i’ve wanted since i was in middle school. This is much smaller than I always imagined I would do it but, still on the back, and still awesome. Wish she would have posted the updated one with color, it’s even more gorgeous then. le sigh.
